We have refreshed a large portion of the index again. For those watching, you know we do this every few weeks, but we paused over Christmas.
The main change about this index is for those sites that use redirects we have fixed a bug in how we treat the language of these redirecting pages.
If A redirects to another landing page B, we were treating the language of A as “unknown” rather than giving it the language of the landing page B. This led to ranking badness.
This fix is the most obvious change to note in the new index.
