I can help translating in Romanian, if you guys are interested.
Also, I’ve selected “Deutsch” and some links / texts are still in English.
Heston Liebowitz · May 14, 09:53 AM
@Eugen: Thanks for the offer! I’ll send you more details about that.
As for the English phrases on the German site, translation is an ongoing process and this is just the first version. These will certainly be translated properly very soon.

timmy · May 18, 05:02 AM
what would be useful would be a way to tailor results by area. Although i’m searching in English, i’m in the UK not the US so i want everything (like town names and stores) to prioritize the UK. With certain other search engines i can do that depending on the URL i use…

Stephan Schmid · May 25, 11:19 AM
Well, the possibility to change the language of the user interface is good, but what about the possibility to search only in certain languages? Currently, as far as I can see, Cuil mainly indexes English content.
Carlo G · May 26, 07:01 AM
I could help translating cuil in italian, the current translation is half in spanish and there are some errors in the italian part.
Carlo.
Heston Liebowitz · May 26, 12:24 PM
@Stephan Schmid: When you change the language of the user interface this also changes the language of your search. Cuil will try to return only results in your chosen language.
This is still a new feature and we’re working on expanding non-English coverage, so stay tuned.
Meow · May 26, 09:03 PM
I’d like to translate Cuil to both simplified and traditional Chinese. Chinese people would like to try Cuil because of it. Don’t worry, my major is English in my university. :)
By the way, making the language menu on Cuil’s main page is better I guess.
Gulstar · May 28, 09:29 PM
Already a lot of help for a dutch translatian. Don’t know if it’s the more the better, but you can send me some info when extra help is needed.
