Opera 9

Make Cuil the default search engine in Opera 9.

This guide applies to both Mac and Windows versions of Opera, although screenshots are from Windows.

1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Preferences..."

   

2. Click the "Search" tab, and then click the "Add" button.

   

3. Fill in the fields with this information:

   Name: Cuil
   Keyword: c
   Address: http://www.cuil.com/search?q=%s
   Select "Use as default search engine"

   Leave the other fields blank.

   

4. Click "OK" to close the dialog. Then click "OK" again to close the preferences.

5. Click the down arrow on the right of the search box. At the bottom of the list select "Cuil."

   

6. Cuil will now appear as the default search engine in the search box.
