The Eclipse AJAX Tools Framework community is already creating contributed builds of XULRunner 1.8.1.x; this is a natural continuation of that process. Linux distributions will be shipping Firefox on XULRunner. Several Linux distributions are already shipping XULRunner

Dave Townsend has posted that two new official releases of the XULRunner runtime and SDKs are now available. 'XULRunner 1.9.0.12 is a maintenance release for the 1.9.0 branch (the code that matches Firefox 3.0.x).
